Based out of Mumbai, Maharashtra, Devidayal is an off-grid DC appliances innovator and a finalist at the Global LEAP awards. The enterprise designed an award-winning solar DC refrigerator, which is being leveraged to create supply chain solutions in the agriculture and allied sectors.

Product Information

Solar Refrigerator

An efficient solar refrigerator and refrigerator and freezer with digital display, durable finish, and environment-friendly technology (no chlorofluorocarbon emissions). It is designed for the storage of products ranging from life-saving medicines and vaccines, to dairy and drinks.

Works on two solar panels and a reserve battery
Solar module and size of the freezer is customisable to suit the end-user.
Temperature range: 1 -11C and -18C to +8C.
Solar DC 12V/24V and 48 V DC.
Tested by CLASP in the Netherlands – IEC 62552 (steady-state operation power consumption at 16C, 32C, and 43C, load processing efficiency, freezing capacity).

Devidayal refrigerator (DDSF-100) was a finalist in the 2019 Global LEAP Awards for Outstanding Off-Grid Refrigerators and won the Consumer Affordability Prize. CLASP conducted independent testing and evaluation on the performance and quality of Devidayal Pedestal Fan (SR-DC-BL01) in 2019 and found that it was approximately 50% more efficient than the market average. As global average temperatures continue to rise, we know that affordable and efficient cooling solutions like Devidayal fans and refrigerators will play a critical part in delivering modern energy services to off-grid and weak-grid communities.
